direct x 9.0c

ack. for some reason it wont install. when i open the installer it goes from saying something like "this will now install direct x 9.0c, click next to continue" or whatever. i click next adn it says its finished. no loading bar or anything, and then when i check ive still got 9.0b installed.

anyone had this problem, or know how to fix it?

I just installed DirectX 9.0c on my laptop this morning, worked fine.
Try downloading it again?

nope. ive try that. i tried the the redist. one too.

i think i might just reformat, see if that helps
