For those who work late at night (from 10PM-5AM EST) I suggest listening to Coast-to-coast radio.

If you go to www.mojoradio.com and click LISTEN LIVE between those hours you'll get streamed radio. This is seriously the wackiest shit. CRAZY PEOPLE (100% the truth) call in and talk about whatever the hell they like. The host leads them on and keeps them going.

THe current guy is talking about how the moon is ARTIFICIAL and made from carbon nano-tubes.

It's great. smile.gif

EDIT: They do talk about some interesting things aswell. The odd night the topic will be of something worth interest and not laughter. Give it a listen if you'd like =)

At work I listen to Vancouver's very own C-Fox, myself. Although, I'll give Mojo a try. I think Mojo is a brother station of C-Fox.

I like listening to the radio at work because it's something random and different from my mp3 collection.

Not unless he hosts it from beyond the grave. Art Bell died recently....1-2 years ago I think.

    Visit:

The direct site for the show rather than your Canuck radio station... crazy.gif

The new host is a guy named George Noory.
Art bell used to live & broadcast from here in Nevada as well. I think he was in Pahrump (famous for being the Martian landing spot in Mars Attacks) which is a few miles outside of Vegas.

Phil Hendrie* does a wickedly accurate Art Bell imitation. I don't know if art bell died, as much as he got a death threat a couple of years ago, and left the air for a while, then came back briefly to hand the radio show off to the new guy.

*Phil Hendrie, Los Angeles based radio Talk show consisting of "faked" radio call ins.. the guy is almost the next Mel Blanc, but needs better writers. Does voices for cartoons too.

Wikipedia doesn't say Art Bell has died. "Why lie when you can just omit?"

I suppose I'm probably just misinformed. I've googled a time or two now, and cant find the article I read about his death.

Must have been a hoax, or better still...a conspiracy.

Yup, Art's alive, but I'm sure his back is still killing him. Nory has done a good job filling his shoes though. Been listening to coast to coast since '97. It was really kewl back then! Everything from the philidelphia experiment to comets (hale bopp)carrying plant pathogens which kill all that is green above the ocean surface!

    Kewl stuff dude.

White Noise with Michael Keaton is based on the experiences of a frequent guest on CoastToCoast. Also, Art Bell (and I think Whitley Strieber) wrote a book called "The Coming Super Storm" which was the basis of natural phenomenah epic "The Day After Tomorrow."
