I am trying to decide which version of the turtlevan to paint my van! YOU GET TO VOTE ONE VAN OFF THE ISLAND!!! Now there are 2 versions of the old turtle van. (giant spoiler isn't actually on van yet, just added for dramatisation purposes)

The Toy Version

The Cartoon Version


Bright and Vibrant or Tan and Tan? Depending on the results you can sway my opinion!!!!!!!! After the paintjob is done i will have plenty of before/after pics of the inside and outside for you kind folks. ROCK MY VOTE!!!!!!111``1~~~

cartoon version all the way. if you got the toy version (especially that most inharmonious orange) actually painted on you'd be very sorry once it was all finished. the cartoon version, on the other hand, looks quite nice.

Agreed, that orange is vile. If you painted it like that, it'd look like you got a replacement door from a different van at the junk yard.

I'd go with the cartoon one too...you gonna add any of the other details (logos, patterns, accessories etc), or is your plan to simply match the colour scheme?

If anything, maybe a mix of the two. I like the amount of green, and the shade from the 'toy version', but I like the lack of orange door on the 'cartoon version'.

I voted the toy version. I think the cartoon version actually looks much better, but I think it's too subdued if you want your van to be recognized as the "turtle van." If I saw the "cartoon version," I would probably just think to myself, "Man, that's an ugly paint scheme with an even uglier spoiler." Of course, if you plan on eventually putting on all of the logos and decals, identifying it as the turtle van wouldn't be a problem .

and yeah do like mojo suggests and see what the cartoon looks like with the green coming down farther.
