if, by some strange chance, you have not seen the movie "What the #$*! Do We Know!?", i strongly recommend watching it. i wont say more than that as what you get from the film will more than likely differ from what i got from it, but really... go... rent it / buy it / borrow it... just watch it.

    Just recently watched it.
Interesting movie. I think the "What is truth" statement near the end sums up what the movie is about. Really brings things into a new light if you haven't already thought about such things.

Definately recommend you watch it if you have a chance.

Immodest as it sounds, I'll probably see it and find that I've contemplated a lot of the ground they cover. But I wanna see it!

This is kind of weird, because after reading this thread this morning (well, not immediately after, but soon after), I walked out to my living room and saw this movie sitting on the coffee table, which seemed like a pleasant coincidence (and even more so a coincidence when considering the subject matter of the film). I asked my mom where it came from, and she said that my younger brother's mother dropped it off because she thought it was an interesting movie. Well, I decided to watch it, and it was pretty cool. It wasn't what I was expecting--it was kind of corny like those informational videos I used to have to watch in school--but the subject matter was interesting and accessible to someone like me who has no knowledge of quantum physics. It may seem a bit mystical and far-fetched to some people, but I think just about anyone can relate to this movie in one way or another. I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone who is interested in ontological questions.

Total bunk. I was excited to see the film albeit the mixed reviews. Unfortuneatly this is angled documentary film making at its worst.

The real profs speaking in the movie have been quoted as saying the filmakers took their input out of context, splicing in only what hammered in their point and intentionally placing their views between the newage crap so as to seem like the profs were bakcking up or supporting their views.

Even still, the first half is a fairly nice intro to quantum physics. Otherwise, I think this one is a waste of time.

my visual effects teacher did the atoms.

innn facccctt i think he did the shot where the basketball turns into the atom. it's credited as "lostboys studios" at the end.

as for the movie.... well.... i won't comment on it.. or the people who watch it...

sounds like TV over here in the UK. Repackaged every 5 years but lots of nice science stuff to warm your brain up.
