Where did the tools go?

I was just playing around in gmax and I was scrolling down the tools on the right to make some edges invisible when the whole thing just disappeared! How do I get it back? I don't know what I did that made it go away and nothing I've tried has managed to get it back.

Ummm... Preferences? Sounds like you toggled something off. Either that or Workspace. I'd have to go look.

Well, that's what I had thought before, so I was going through everything and nothing was working. There is a "show command panel" that is a toggle to hide it, but it wasn't doing anything.

I just fixed it. I tried increasing my screen resolution and i found it. It had become a separate window and was pushed off the screen somehow. So I guess the toggle was working, I just couldn't see that it was working.
