The only 007.
The cat is out of the bag I guess. A couple of weeks ago I spent sometime putting this cover together for our game:
http://www.gameinformer.com/News/Story/200503/N05.0318.1411.49438.htm
It's the in-game model with a higher res hand, rendered in Mental Ray and HDRI, and a bit of Photoshopping goodness.
Oh and thanks to SouL for the gun modeled in about twenty minutes! Time was tight.

LOL looks friggin tight dude, LURV it.
Pretty good likelyness
//edit: i see now that its coming for the cube. Im gonna cuddle up with my wavebird in the couch, watch old bond movies and wait for this one.
That's an in-game model??? Man, if you would have said that i's the high poly cinematic model I would have believed it too. Can you say anything about the poly-count?
Kidding - it looks like you've nailed 007 spot on - it's extremely well done, great work!
Good idea to bring back Sean Connery. Any chance you can get him to do one last voice performaning role as the original 007?
a) the little finger, looks a bit flaccid
and b)the veins on the arm look a little thin.
looks great though, likeness is spot on.
if so super job.
Maybe the corners of his mouth are turned up a little too much? There's something about this render which makes me think "wax model" rather than "real person", a feeling I didn't really get with some of the images of your Brosnan version of Bond. It might just be the lighting setup or the skin shininess though.

Haha Tim nice one! No the game is being done here at EA Redwood Shores. For the most part its the same team that made 'Everything Or Nothing'.
swampbug: well yeah looking at the DVD's mainly. I don't really have any good high resolution photos of him from that era. It is over 40 years ago after all.
good crits guys thanks. This thing is printed though, so not much hope of changing anything
tight schedules.. what EA got up their sleeve this time.
hope it's better than rogue agent,
and at least remotely as good as the real goldeneye on N64.
Rogue Agent was produced by EA LA. As said, this is being produced by EA Redwood Shores, the same studio that made 'Everything Or Nothing'.
Unlike Rogue Agent, this isn't an fps, so it's not really relevant to compare to the original Goldeneye.

its the gayest sean connorey ive ever seen daz
theyve been working u overtime over there? no hot ladies in the office? someone call the cops!
really happy to finally see EA doing an adaptation of an existing bond movie, will look forward to the game
likeness is awesome too, especially for an ingame character !
you CAN tell that it is computer generated by the super smooth skin, for example where skin folds at joints or stretches, his fingers are smooth.
It is never-the-less awesome. These things cna be fixed really.
Thanks for the crit though!
my biggest gripe would be how it is displayed on the cover istelf, with the red backgroud, and super harsh edges. Would have been nicer if the the model transitioned into the background elements a bit better - but i imagine the red was Game Informer's call?
i dig the hand and gun, pretty!
