Hi all...
Here is a Minotaur I've been working on and off for about a week now...I'm not worrying too much about polygon count at the moment...but the count is now just over 5000 (probably won't go any higher..
..then again I can see this maybe hitting close to the 6000 mark) as I am taking the viewpoint that this is a boss creature...soooooo it will be fairly large in scale and therefore I am going to try and reduce the amount of hard edges as possible...just don't wanna f'ck this up..heh...but I'm chuffed as to how this is turning out..plenty more additional details on the mesh to follow all the same...
...
btw...

I would also make the posture more like Zagife:

if you don't change the posture at least bring the head forward. and the the head coud be bigger. I like the arms.
Darksun: cheers...
Rage: the hips are wider than what you may have expected, cos' I have seen too many of the perfect physique minotaur's over and over again..I'm just a bit bored with that really...I'm going for the type that is of more mass, a powerful beast with bulk...
killingpeople: LOL.. ...cheers...
hikagesan: when I update this again, I'll show the back view aswell, it's still very early and this will probably change some more along the way...
Todd: Cool!!....cheers for the ref...I see what you mean about the ankle, and I totally agree, I'll change the ankle area to more like the pic in the link...I'm liking that loads...Oh and the pose of the mesh, it's more easieer to model in a outstretched pose than a posed pose?...but that could be just me...heh...I'll have to mess around with the scale of the head as this mesh is minus all the alpha etc that it's going to need...this was deliberate as I'm still working on proprtion when I have the time to work on this....hopefully I can update later on tonight after work?...
