CatMech thang(maybe Zoid?)

Found this hiding in my remote storage area that I haven't looked in for quite awhile. I started him last year and promptly forgot about it. Started reworking him a bit yesterday.



Suggestions on how to mount the dang gatling gun are welcome. Right now it's just sitting on top, not connected in any way.

Yes, it's going to be normal mapped.

i really liked this mesh until i got to the feet, wow you wasted a lot of polies there, needs to be optimized before you think about weaponry. i really like the rest tho, very clean other than the feet. great proportions too. keep it up

This is some sort of officesupply thing, but you should get the picture.

Work on the shape of the feet, they look very blocky right now.

Yep, I use wings inbetween customers at work(tech support).
Thanks for the swivel idea. That should help a lot.
Yes, I know about the feet being ugly. I'm still trying to figure ot a good shape. You should have seen the last ones. The were even uglier.

I tried your idea for the mount, and it looks pretty cool!


I still need to do a bit of work to make it look connected to the body but that shouldn't be too hard.
Got any suggestions for the feet? Anyone?

weren't you the dude who made the zoid model for his kid? or was that someone else?

This is one of those Zoid models . Like I said it sat on remote storage forgotten about. Maybe I'll finally finish this year.
