A gramophone I did this evening:

Low-poly mesh and normal-maps to follow.

I'm also gonna try and get a Tiffany table lamp, and antique telephone done in the same style, but I dunno if I will have time to do this by Sunday. Still, it's fun! smile.gif

Great start, MoP! I hope you find time to finish more of these! I considered going high poly/normals with my own, but didn't think I'd have the time.

    Thanks guys smile.gif

I added a quick table... still not sure what to do for the final "object" - I'm thinking I might make a load of books, writing paper, fountain pen and inkwell, maybe a photo frame, just to fill up space on the side of the table. Then normal-map it all.

600 polys... I shoulda probably thrown some more into the end of the trumpet-bit... although with some judicious opacity-map usage, it should look good from most angles. All textures from Max's render-to-texture, so far. Just a normal-map, a GI lighting bake, and an alpha map. Originals at 512x512, shown here at half size.

Max viewport grab (hence some opacity alphas not working quite right):

I've also normal-mapped the table, but can't be bothered getting a screengrab now. Also need to give the table a GI lighting pass too.
