modeling a leatherbound book with turning pages.

Okay, I'm about to begin modeling a leatherbound book for the intro to my Wedding videos. I was thinking of using planes as pages as I only want to show a few turning. Do you guys think this would be the best approach? If not what do you recommend? I've never attempted to model anthing like this before. thanks!

Depends on your animation program I think. In 3ds max one way could be to use planes bound to a Space Warp, so they deform as they rotate through it. Or use Skin with splines as bones, and animate the splines. Or.... there are lots of ways. What app?
