Hotmail and Firefox not buddies or something?

Just recently "upgraded" to Firefox on my new rig. Problem is, Hotmail is often buggy and I can't create new messages. When i open IE, it's just fine. Anyone else have this problem?

I ALWAYS get "We're sorry, but the page you're trying to reach is temporarily unavailable or the page may no longer exist."
in hotmail using Firefox, but it still opens OK.

hotmail and firefox work fine for me. it was IE that would always crash with hotmail or any msn site, and that's the reason i switched

my gf would get that all the time as well, and I forgot how we fixed it. do you two have the latest version?

works fine for me too no probs at all.. hotmail take about twice the time to open that any other site does but i expect thats down to hotmail and not firefox.

Nevermind, i have no trouble with with Firefox and hotmail. Check your setings

Hotmail (MSN) will give priority to Internet explorer users (IE) during heavy traffic hours of the day. This is why FF is sometimes buggy.

check the firefox extentions. i remember seeing a few that help with Firefox/Hotmail related issues

I'm alerted of new email by Trillian. Sometimes I have trouble loading the page for Trillian, but I simply close it and try again and everything is fine. That's expected of Microsoft. Honestly I'm only with hotmail until I find the motivation to switch to yahoo.

I'm using Opera, except for a few deliberately broken functions (Opera users can't delete their junkmail, MS is notorious for doing that on purpose) it works. But I've switched to web.de because neither Hotmail nor Lycos support POP3.
