Hi all,

Here is a Unreal character that i need to do for school blush.gif
What I wanted was a kind of Man who use Nuclear products/weapons etc...
This model is 2387poly

    The overall volume seems cool, but you need more edges for deformation purposes. Especially at the tops of the thighs. Try to have the loops go all the way around, at least two of them, otherwise you will get lots of collapsing. Here, I made this real quick to illustrate my point.

    Looks great.

    But you should go for a more rubberish look.
    I think the leather isn´t very protective smirk.gif

    Seeing as how you're using belgacom, i take it you live in Belgium.. so which school is that?
    I can't load your pictures, so i'll give some proper crits when my internet unfucks itself (which is, ironically enough, belgacom skynet)

    Nice start on the skin. You have a bit much wasted space on the uv layout but it's not too bad. As far as the texture goes it looks like you could push the details a bit more to really make it "pop". Maybe add some warts and scars to his skin. Radiation does nasty stuff to it. If that's supposed to be leather for the pants and gloves I'd add some sweat stains and other stains to it. The backpack could use a little more design to it. Needs maybe some electrical circuitry showing, seams where metal plates come together, some screws, stuff like that. Maybe add a bit more highlights and shadows to help the details stand out on the rest of the texture. See what you can do to hide that texture seam where his arm meets his shoulder. It's pretty obvious right now.

    All in all a nice start. Just needs a bit more work to make it a really good skin. smile.gif

    What i see on the texture right now, is a terrible clash between subdued (the green and brown) colours, and that bright green visor.
    You should choose between those two, and either do everything with bright colours, or rework the visor. Because the visor is so fluorescent, the rest of him now looks flat.
    I actually quite like the use of texture overlays, and the colour variation on the upperarm is really nice too.

    And i just noticed that the black and yellow stripes don't really fit, but seeing as how it's part of the design, i don't really know what to do with it

    edit: some things i forgot:
    You could add a belt to his trousers, and maybe you could put some yellow on the front somewhere, to tie the design together more? Maybe some brass buttons on his trousers/belt?
    i am the king of edits (aka edit #2):
    the metal of his backpack annoys me, because it's so clean. I'm not against clean metals, but the rest of him is dirty and rusted, so why isn't that?
    Bang it up a bit!
