Yeah I wish I could get reference of such places myself but really I dunno where to go and more to the point how safe it acturally is.

I mean we have the old cement works where I live,but its now a "dark" place to go...my mate went up to it with his girlfriend very early one morning and just kept the cam rolling and filmed where he went(art project),the playback which ive seen is really creepy,lots of tree branches,eery things...a gate slightly open with broken "Caution no Entry" signs on it then through it just abandoned trains...on the playback there was acturally a shadow through the trees that he is adament was not there when they were there,trully creepy but very inspiring from an artistic point of view.

So afew days later I went up there with my mate (during the day) with a cam and got lots of grundge metal pics,rusting equipment,sign posts..wiring etc etc found lots of evil stuff like syringes,boiler,gas etc etc on one or 2. of the abandoned trains.

then literally afew days later someone i used to know from school apprently commited suicide up there,though he leaved a suicide note,rumors are rife foul play were involved as he was heavily into drugs and owed money to some big players the scene of the crime revealed more likely taht he was pushed by soemoen and went through one of the tin roofs to his death.....goes without saying none of us have been up there since.

But its that kind aplace I find really useful for artitistic stuff,and i know alot of people that do go up there just to pic wires,railway sleepers etc up there for art collge or art classes at school.
