anyone know anything about scsi drives?

Ok so i got a bunch of free computer crap from a friend, and im trying to set up two scsi drives(9 gig seagate and 10gig IBM) on an IBM/Adaptex AHA-2940 Fast/Wide Ultra SCSI adaptor card.... So the thing is i can access the drive tools and stuff and the drives show up i formated them but i have no idea how to get them to show up in xp. The card seems to be pretty old and so far the manual hasnt been much help(its only for win95/NT) So if anyone has any ideas let me know.

SCSI always has its own little quirks so i cant really say i know with that card in xp (did in nt ) but i am pretty sure that you will need the latest drivers that you can get from adaptec...

Ok well i updated the drivers and got it working, but not it keeps telling me i dont have enough of a swap file.... but its not even the fucking drive my os is on, which has a swap file of like 2 gigs and this one has one of 1 gig, but programs wont fucking load if im using more than 512 megs of ram(which is all my system has) like its totally ignoring the swap file all together....

As a friend of mine once told me, the acronym for SCSI really mans System Can't See It

Are you manually defining your page file size, or letting Windows do it? I've had better luck manually defining it and adjusting my registry to make sure it takes advantage of all the space (though Max still gives me out of memory errors sometimes - 2gb ram and 4gb swap ought to be enough, you know?)
