hahah! yeah this stuff is cool, i saw it in person... it's in north hollywood, i was visiting a friend who lives out there and we had just been to a Thai restaurant that has a Thai Elvis impersonator (yes, he was hilarious/awesome)... the "Metaldude's" shop was in a nearby set of shops--it had closed by then but all the things in the gallery pics (like the big metal Elvis, coincidentally) where plainly visible. i dunno if there's a picture on the site, but he's also got a big metal Boba Fett. these things are huge and pretty impressive, though he did have a lot of much smaller metal works for sale as well.
And is apparantly taken over by yakuza, last i heard (quoted from Giger himself, mind you)
I'd still love to visit it, though, it looks absolutely amazing.

coincedentally i had a strange dream the other night about aliens and their damned queen.
Really makes me want to actaully put in the time and effort and take up metal working.
for a mere 50k$ you can get an original hr http://www.giger.com/Furniture/Images/Furniture01big.jpg
but i think neo has the right idea, metal work would be a blast, and poss cheaper

I'd love to go to giger bar, which uses that same design scheme for everything.
