Ciao to everybody! this is the first time i'm posting here and i start asking for the real basics. I want to make a custom model and skeleton (a character) for UT2004 and i've searched all over the internet for a good tutorial but they are all for UT2003 and when they say UT2004 they are always for ut2003 and they say "it's the same thing" but I haven't found it the same... maybe it's me but can you point me to a good (and simple) UT2004 importing character tutorial? I want make a simple not animated "thing" just for test the import process (at least for now...later i'm gonna make also animations) I use lightwave 3d 7.5 and/or milkshape 3d.
p.s. Sorry for my english it's not my language, i'm italian.

here is its result for "UT2004 importing character tutorial"
this site seemed to have a thorough tutorial.
This is what I was talking about anyway:
"This character was done for UT2003 although it should import with pretty much the same methods without too much of an issue."
the tutorial is for 3d studio max...(well this is not so important as long as i can export in .psk too so no real problems)
it use a non custom rig
in any case i've already followed this tut and it ended at point 10 first. I went over improvising (is this word right?)and stopped another time at point 17 (and sometimes also at the inbetweens). well i try it again that's for sure but in the meantime if someone have also other suggestions they'll be appreciated!
