Well, a new TT games store just opened in my area and I have started assembling my Tau army. I do have a question for those on the board who also play(i've seen a few WH40k posts so i know there are some of you) I am looking for concept art and so on to use as ref for some models of the Tau army. I really have not come across any online but was wondering if anyone has seen anything like model sheets or such for the WH races. If you have could you post me some links? thanks!!! Oh, and any input on the Tau would be good also.

cant really help you out as far as the model sheets go, but just thaught i'd show off my old tau model from when that army was just starting out
I never really got into the army, i just wanted to get one as a gamesday keepsake, i was stricktly a tyranid kinda guy heh.

If you're assembling a Tau army, you have the best reference art available to you, sitting half-painted on your desk.

I've modeled a couple Tyranids for Dawn of War to images of the sprues sitting directly on the scanner.

other than the GW site your looking at old White dwarf's and the artwork books that GW throws out at odd intervals, i believe the Jes Goodwin book had some Tau sketches

Not a TT player but Dawn of War was awesome. I can't wait for the expansion pack. Check it out if you haven't yet, Seantree (no Tau army though).

ypu, that was my main reaosn for wanting to model some Tau. I wanted to throw them in DOW Anyway, i'll use my models I have as ref. Just like to always have a model sheet or so at my disposal.

There's already a Tau mod for DoW. They've made some pretty good progress too. Go to the DoW mod forums to check it and other mods out.

Syaped, yup, I grabbed the video they released. It looks great. I'd just like to model my own army for the hell of it. Guess I'll grab some of my fire warriors and get to work. thanks again for the info.
