I just wanted to make a post about how much I appreciate Polycount. I really think of this as my extended family. I must spend at least an hour of my time on here every day (after work of course doc_rob). There are so many people doing awesome artwork, professionals, hobbyists, and students alike. I know I can come here whenever I need to talk about something, share my artwork, or give some feedback. I know I don't stop and tell my friends how much I appreciate them enough, so here it is. I really appreciate everyone involved with making polycount what it is today.

I'm also gonna have to thank you, Ben, for pressurising me into going to the ConceptArt workshop... it's really helped my artwork a lot and I learned so much there. If you hadn't been chastising me over MSN, I'd never have gone.

I agree, this is the best community I have come across. I appreciate all the pros such as yourself Poop, who take the time to help out those of us not in the industry yet, and I hope to jump in soon. When it comes to the internet, I don't think any other site has been nearly the valuable resource as PC has. Thanks y'all, group hug!

I agree, as a newcomer ive found this entire site to be and endless well of resource and inspiration. i check the site at least 3 times a day, and whenever i need a reason to crack open a sketch book or a over-used maya file, i just pay a little visit to 'ol Poly.

I attribute a whole goddamn lot of my success to polycount. I have to think that if I didn't stumble upon this site many many years ago whilst still in highschool, I wouldn't have gotten into game art at all, and would probably be a starving artist eating trash out of a gutter for survival.
