i was playing pretend again yester.. eh night, pretending to work at a game dev during crunch time. Soo, instead of going to sleep, i took this character from concept to where it is now in about 8 hours. You guys will probably find 1000 things to crit, since I worked fast (by my standards) and sloppy. Just over 4000 polies without the placeholder eyeballs. Can optimize it a lot.

Any comments?

    Proportions and overall design seems cool. I'm looking forward to seeing this jimmy ju jank completed.

    My initial thoughts are the knees are too low, and the fingers need more divisions on the inside. You gotta have at least 2 if you want to avoid collapsing.

    Naw, you can get away with those fingers - you could even ditch one of the divisons on the outside, around the knuckles.

    The knees have been mentioned, she also has a very wide minge.

    jimmy ju jank WHO? Ill fix the knees. I`ll take your word for it rick, and leave those fingers alone. (Not that i trust you any less poop, Im just lazy! wink.gif) I havent got the faintest idea what a minge is.. But i can imagine, since there IS a certain area of her body thats a bit too wide. smile.gif

    I will post the concept tomorrow dig, someone stole my scanner a while back, so i dont have any means of scanning it until tomorrow.

    //edit: she`s supposed to be really skinny. But she didnt turn out that way.. Ill try to make her skinnier. I guess that on a subconscious level i prefer my women curved. laugh.gif (on several not that subconscious levels too..)

    Looking pretty good from what I know. Her face makes me think 'Carrie-Ann Moss' right off.

    I like the hands as well, although I bet you could get away with four knuckle-polys where you have eight. I also hope you're gonna do some optimizing on the palm, but I bet you are.

    Yeah, she is really skinny, but her pelvis is so large that it's throwing you off. I'd keep some curves in there, though, so she's not totally repulsive.

    I have to rag on Poop for saying your proportions are okay: they are not. Measure from head-top to pubic bone (almost to the end of the 'minge'), and compare this to the distance from pubic bone to heel-tip. They should be equal, and I can tell they are not. Legs need to be longer, mostly in the calves. Get out your Loomis charts and do a once-over, I think you'll be able to fix her up with very little effort. Then she'll be HAWT.

    Keep some of that 'minge gap', however, cause that stuff is 'teh seXXXay'. Werd.

    is "minge" what i think it is 0.o

    IMO the face is pretty ...unnatractive. in no way does every character in the world need to be a bombshell, but i think some of the proportions are off. i think the lips and the inner cheeks are kinda throwing it off. gj tho

    I found time to work a little on this baby again. Adjusted the knees, and the "minge". I will optimize it a bit more, and combine the two halves, but first i need to get you guys` blessings. Does she look ok? I added some fat to her face, hopefully she is more attractive now. I also noticed that she has no eyelids, and she needs a pair of those. any advice on making eyelids? i also wondered how to make eyes for halflife2 models, since im planning to push this in that direction. If she ever find her way all the way into hl2, i dunno. im sure as hell gonna try tho.

    wow.. page 11! i almost forgot this gal.. anyways, i have been working a little on her, and i`ve pretty much finished the model. im thinking about giving her some welding goggles before starting to unwrap.. either way, im gonna start unwrapping her tomorrow. Im both looking forward to it, and at the same time, im a little scared. laugh.gif Im not the best unwrapper in the world, and will probably need all the advice you can offer. Ill post my progress on the unwrapping asap.

    Well, i dug this chick out from oblivion, and started unwrapping, texturing and giving her a normal map.
