I am looking for a used bench and some weights in the Vancouver BC area. if anyone wants to get rid of a set I am willing to take it. I'm trying not to spend too much money doing this.
I wouldn't know what options there are in Vancouver, but Seattle has some Play It Again Sports shops that deal in second hand athletic items, including fitness equipment.
real men bench the grizzlies, while kicking a tiger in the nuts and walking in to a kkk meeting and saying they're black. and they do it before a breakfast of bear and tiger cooked over pillowcase hats
Real men bench cast iron stoves thats cooking their grizzly and tiger nuts breakfast while hopping down the street with a dress on telling black men they are white and juggling 3 chainsaws with their free leg.
Seriously who'd fuck with a man can juggle chainsaws with his feet? I know I wouldn't especially one who is wearing a dress!
Real men drive tanks over the bears, the tigers, the K.K.K., and the occasional bystander, then cook the resulting mess in an omlette over a roasting forest fire, then benchpress and leg press the tank, as breakfast cools, and then Invites the Girlfriend over and presents her with the hides as rugs, and uses the pillowcase hats to clean up the mess before she arrives.
Well, it's tough enough EVER finding used weights, let alone on a messageboard of computer game art geeks who live all over the world. You really have to find someone local to buy them from, as shipping on a full set would be far too expensive.
Check your local used sporting goods shops, Big-5 type stores, classifieds, Craig's List, and keep your eyes open for any gyms going out of business.
Good for you though, Pak! I've got a full weight set at home that I use all of the time, and it's a heck of a lot easier than trying to find time to go to the gym.
$100 dollars and he delivers it to my door in the next 45 mins, and i get a 45 min drive back into the city to chow on sushi wioth some highschool buddies.
I'm strictly in the "use your own body weight" camp though. 30 pressups and 30 situps a day, plus a light 20 min jog along the beach in the morning keep me fighting off those nasty bears.

But real men bench steel I-beams while in 3 feet of mud and fending off grizzly bears.

So uhhh, weights? One of you PC'ers must be a fitness reject. Give a PaK a chance eh?
