Morning fightfans.
I'm using max7 at work, and rendering out textures and normal maps. They appear fine in the preview window, but I have noticed that all the outputs that are saved (with padding etc.) are pure black.
Any ideas? Have I toggled a "make black images" output or something?

Using the correct UV channel?
All UVs within the 0-1 range?
And make sure there are no overlapping UVs in the 0-1 box. I simply move all my overlaps and mirrored bits 1 unit over (using Chuggnut's UV tools) so they're outside the bake box, and leave them there.
There are no overlaps, everything is within the uv box.
