Jill.

Jill is part of an old-fashioned point&click adventure ( Monkey Island style ) being created by friend of mine and by myself.
It's called "Kill Jill"

Jill is female and addicted to alcohol. The masses of beer she consumes gave her this nice potbelly/ beer belly (<-?).

~4000 Polys, completely done in Milkshape by myself, which I bought a license for.
Unfortunately I do not have the money to buy 3dsmax or other programs like that.

We're still looking for talented modelleres,
but we urgently need a texture artist / skinner !

If you are willing to test your painting skills and create a skin for Jill, let me know.

Maybe you are even willing to join us?

Ah well, heres some more models I made, what do you think?

Some of them are still WIP or even finished by now, but I was too lazy to recreate the renders.

I also created animations in milkshape :
Animation for the shotgun ( requires DIVX )

    Jill, likes beer, 3954 polygons
At that time I was working on the neck. After that, the fine tuning began.

    Tests regarding Jill's animations
    eeeaarrllyy version of the model

    schwertzeugs2.jpg

Sword, mediaeval times, 722 polygons // Buckler, mediaeval times, 648 polygons

Some of the models are quite old. The Car is about 3 years old, the guns about 2 I think.

I'd really love to see some of the models being skinned.

I do not have a creative background at all, and if there is one thing I am absolutey bad at then it is painting.

I do know how to create a texture tho ( uv mapping etc ), but I everytime I create a skins for my models, I am unsatisfied with them.

The texture of the shotgun you can see in the video is done by me for example and it looks really bad in my opinion.
So, if you feel like willing to create a skin for Jill or one of the other models let me knw :-)

Some great work. I especially like the dragon. Any reason you stopped at that particular part on the Angelina face? Looks like an odd place to stop the model and start texturing, but it seems to be intentional.

I didnt really stop working on the Angelina face.

As I mentioned, some models are still WIP and since Milkhape won't let me create nice renders, I have to go to my university everytime to create some with 3dsmax, which i am much too lazy for.

Its no texture for Angelina by the way, its just the reference pic the model is based on. I've put it on the model to see how it looks and whether it all fits right.

The reason why I took Angelina is not because I am a big fan of hers or something ( I didn't even see those Tomb Raider movies :-D ) but because her face is so distinctive, expressive. Some parts of her face like the lips seem somehow exxegerated or not natural. Thats why I chose her - I thought one might be able to recognise her face from the model, even without a skin.

Hell, if Milkshape is too limited grab Blender and realize you've just wasted 20-30 euros on MS3d.

    Nice models.
I'm not sure why there are so many vertexes and poly's in the belly of the dino model. It appears by the smooth render that it's just a smooth belly, but the wireframe shows an odd pattern.
