Hey, been working on this guy for about a week. Still lots to do on it. Eventually going to normal map him.
I'm thinking I may have gone a bit overboard on the abs? I'm no expert on anatomy, just been looking at pics of body builders so if anything is weird please let me know. Not sure about the feet either, not very monster-like.

Showster: Yeah the idea is he'll eventually have all sorts of spikes and ridges and stuff going on. And you're right about the legs, I scaled them up a bit.
Daz: Thanks for the welcome! The pecs are the boobies right? I'll try to fix that. I've posted the unsmoothed wires for you.
Gmanx: I did a couple of real quick sketches of his head, but mostly made it up as I went.
And I totally agree with Daz about the line flow on the abs.

Well he now has a normal map and an additional bump map, both 1024, plus a very basic diffuse map with lighting baked in Max. Don't really intend to take the texture any further at the moment, as it's definetely not my forte, so I think I'll do some more animations. Here's a couple of renders from a walk cycle I've done and a wire:
