The responsibilities for this position are as follows:
· Leads, directs and provides day to day supervision to a
programming team assigned to game development project.
· Creates programming design, working from specification,
according to game design.
· Coordinates technical development with other aspects of product
development to include but not limited to music, text, art and
animations, audio recordings and sound effects.
· In conjunction with Producer, recognizes milestones, schedules
resources, and drives team toward timely milestone completion for
project in accordance with anticipated product release date.
· Oversees the bug fixing process, assuring efficient and quality
product end result.
· Participates in new hire interviews, and makes recommendations
to the Producer for employment and promotions.
· Identifies technical or development risks and obstacles when
they become apparent and works with Producer to generate
solutions to these problems.
· Provides comprehensive development, writing, testing and
debugging of software that meets the agreed upon objectives,
standards and deadlines.
· Provides and maintains proper documentation related to source
code, and other documentation as required.
