So PS2 breaks too easily, and Xbox catches on fire. Gamecube is clearly the winner here.
I think there was a techtv segment where some girl smashed up each system in many different ways. The PS2 cd tray cover is always the first to go. I don't think it's fastened or glued on at all. She dropped them from several feet, and played sledgehammer golf, and the Gamecube still worked like a charm.
Seriously..Back when i was lead on testing some Xbox titles, it got so hot in the office we were in (about ~110f) all our Xboxs went on the fritz and we all went home cause none of our equipment (PCs included) would work. And all of the crash bugs from that day were closed due to hardware malfunctions.
Turns out we actually did damage quite a few pieces of hardware that day! hehe

ive never heard of an xbox catching fire though, ps2s breaking ive often heard

Anyone see anywhere on there that you could order a free replacement cord? I'm either missing it or it isn't there.
