It sits at 1,1 millions triangles, done in 3dsmax6.

Some of Shiro's designs just don't translate that well into 3d, in my oppinion. This is one of them... still good work, but exspecially the legs/feet look strange (reason above).

yeah, i know it is a really weird concept i picked up but it just amazed me, as weird it is or should i say, because it is actually really original because it is mixing a lot of styles shirow has been working on for years.
The only thing i changed / concept art are the feet which actually look really weird or not deifned enough - the rest, detail and proportions wise is really exactly the same as the concept art.
I will post the wires today later on.

Excellent stuff, I love the modelling, and the wires look very good (especially the last one, where we are treated to a nice view of its' arse). The solid renders don't do it justice IMO though, but I know you're working on that. Look forward to seeing those.

Yeah actually i will do a low poly version of the model and grab the normals from the HP.
What could be cool would to set the model in a nice environnement scene... depends on how much free time i have to do so.
