Hey everyone
After avoiding it constantly, i finally gave up and tried to learn how to skin. Thankx to poop's awesome video tut (you rock poop wink.gif) i was able to create this skin. I basically just followed everything he did, and didn't try much experimentation. I still have a lot to do, but i wanted to pimp what i already have

OH, also i realize the ear doesnt match the model because it isnt as high in pollies. I just used a low poly ear i had, when im done with the head im going to redo that

I know it needs a lot of work, and i realize that the lips are probly too big and that there is too much emphasis on the temple, ill get to those.
But PLEASE offer every kind of crit laugh.gif i really need to make up for lost time with skinning, and start getting my skill up. i know its not great but its better than i thought i could do laugh.gif thankx


now for something else. Some of you may have seen my Halo 2 Master Chief model. I said i was going to make an SDK for it, but the proportions are really messed up (stupid toy company, i modeled it to that, and the proportions are HORRIBLE) so i have to go back and redo all that, so sorry for the postponement i keep giving.
Anyway from that model, i got an idea for a MOD(for HL2) within the Halo universe that would have the same type gameplay as Republic Commando (Friggin AWESOME). I havent gone public with the idea yet, so i dont really want to say much about it, but if you are looking for a mod project and you want to know more, just let me know(AIM- ZeroX363). I really want to do a GOOD project, because i really need to get my name out there in the gaming world

Let me know what you think of the design, the mesh flow, proportions, or anything else i could or should do with the model.
BTW it has similarities with Master Chief because its suppose to, the mod is within the Halo universe and these guys were another project created by Earth.

    The shadow above the nose is much too dark, looks like makeup. The muzzle area is a bit too round I think. Less shadow along the edges of the nose might help too. I did a quick paintover to help show some changes that I think would improve it.

    Also his eyes look a bit far apart to me and he looks a bit cross-eyed.

    ah thankx...maybe i followed poops tutorial a bit too exact lol. Thankx ill try and edit that
    And yea, i realize that now. I ment to move the eye sockets inward a bit, and i moved the eye first, but i totally forgot to, i guess thats what happened lol. thankx for the paintover

    im not too much of a fan for the cheek lines going down to the chin, unless you want it to look like a heavier set head.

    About the eyebrows, think of them as a form, not as strands. once you get the shape and form down, you can detail them and add stuff if it is even needed. The eyes could also use more color, some red, and skintones in them; they are way too white imo.
