Current triangle count is a tad under 10k, which I shall be optimizing down to about 6-7k range and using a normal map, but here's the model as is. Critique away.
Looks really nice. For that high a poly count I think the guns on his arms could use a little more detail, they're quite blocky when the rest is nicely detailed and smooth. Could use some knees and ankles too.
that looks really sweet, i love the jetr pack type stuff at the back. do those things fold shut? i imagine them opening and closing for when he speeds up and slows down, or to help turning
Inspired by a lot of Shirow Masamune's work, as well as some other concepts such as those found on Tribes:Vengeance or Lim Ri Kai's Nuclear Dawn troopers. I'll be fixing up the chaingun structure a bit.

I thought as much just look at the head design screamed AppleSeed and Orion. Thats nice work there. On the chaingun why only 5 barrels if slimmed down a bit could fit in a 6th barrel to give it a nice Broid look to it.

Merged into one piece. Brought it down in polys a bit, though I don't think I'll go for something as drastic as 4k with this character.
