It's a stopover on the way to Greece, where I am to meet my in-laws...hundreds of them. Apparently there's a whole village and a bunch of Athenians that want to give me a cuddle, see if I'm breeding yet, and feed me up.
My sister is a Londoner, so the plan is to stay with her, visit all our old haunts, catch up with friends, and of course meet some gay martists
Bronco: there's nothing in the Polycount T&Cs that says you have to be a pro. I'd love to meet any Polycounters that want to meet me. I know I've been scarce lately, what with surgery, house renovation, house sale, house purchase, moving, and so forth I haven't had ANY art time really. I still consider this to be home-base though, so I want to meet any Polyfamily in the area.
I plan to give Splash Damage advance warning, so I can try and organise a drop-in, but no, no interviews as yet Scott

I live just under the chilternhills,between Wycombe and Aylesbury and about 20miles or so from Oxford.

I think Mark Laiman (K'Rakarth) is still somewhere near Oxford but I'm spending waay too much time studying at the mo and not nearly enough counting polys. Don't think I've even seen a polycounter since ECTS.. 2002?

That sounds like a plan, any ideas where to go after closing time for a reasonably priced drink with no admission fees, there is the troy club (if it is still going) behind the virgin mega store (if thats still going), but its very small... then smithfields market pubs but they are not open till about 5 or 6am?
Im in leeds at the moment ... but i would like a UK get together type thing ... envolving a Pub and lots of beer....ooh, and Brighton is never nice , dosnt matter what time of year...

Hmmm....been wondering why ive had recent urges to go there on day trips,can't be for the sun ive heard so much about then?
a) we gotta make sure the club we go to is 18+ and not 21+...ill only be 19 in August...though im sure I could become a 22 year old university student for the day in question .
b) clubs tend to be uptight about letting large groups of men in and would proberbly be abit weary of a man with a hidously green face (frankie) .

Hey deimos I was at the megadeth concert on wednesday, I tried to phone but you a couple of times but it went straight to answerphone. I spent most of my time at the bars but I managed to fight my way to the front at the end.
I spoke to Chris the other day, and he said that you'd tried to get hold of me...I don't know why it went straight to answerphone as it was on the whole time...I wondered if you'd gone to either of their gigs...shame we didn't get a chance to meet up...we should probably sort out some sort of London get together at some point and catch up...maybe a gig or something...
