Interesting viewpoint from "behind the lines" as it were. Kinda reminds me why I stopped watching.

I work at a PBS umbrella station that broadcasts on 4 channels throughout my state. When I came into work today I was told I am not to talk to the press about the Program "Postcards from Buster" a PBS kids show that evidently filmed an episode where a Lesbian headed family was involved. A memo came down that said pull all promotion of the program to avoid agitating "legislators and special interest groups". We will of course not be airing the episode in question. At 4:30pm I was told to pre-empt our scheduled airing of an Auschwitz 60th anniversary special presentation, which we have promoted and planned for three weeks, in order to bring the State of the Union which the major networks had already planned to air. This entire hooplah was injected into the public by the new secretary of "education" who threatened PBS funding over the program.
BTW the call that came in for me to air the State of the Union came from the CEO who was meeting with legislators in the capitol.
