We are currently looking for a full time Animator.
Day to day activities will include:
* Create full range of animations for assorted heroes, villains, creatures, and objects
* Implementations, setup, and management of in-game animations using text-based sequencer files
* Produce scripted animation sequences between multiple characters
* Skeleton design and setup
Necessary Skills and Experience:
* 2+ years of game industry experience
* Proficient with 3D Studio Max with emphasis on character animation, skeleton rigging, skinning, and modeling
* Ability to realistically animate dynamic human motion
* Must have excellent organization skills
* Fighting game experience a plus
* Previous FX experience a plus

Cryptic Studios, Inc., located in Los Gatos, California, was established in July of 2000 and is an independent developer of massively multiplayer online games for the PC and next generation consoles. Its first game, City of Heroes, is currently in development and will launch a virtual world where thousands of people play simultaneously, take on the role of superheroes, fight villains and help create a dynamic story in a visually-stunning, 3-D graphical world.
