bounce on a mouse

I've been noticing lately that when I click with my mouse that it's clicking 2 or 3 times, and if I try and hold and drag it's like I'm letting go and clciking it again. So it's acting like the button is bouncing, or at least has a bad connection or something. Is there a way to fix this?

No idea man. I get that problem at school using two-button mice on a Mac. Sucks when you're in illustrator.

Hmmm... I had a similar thing a while back... the microbuttons were broke I guess, so I had to get a new one.
But that mouse was used heavily for years... microbuttons don't break that easyly (well Diablo1 was very bad for my mouse though).

i'm having the same problems, actually. i figured i just needed a new mouse... this one's looking pretty sorry, with all of the paint rubbed off from constant use

Yeah, my old mouse started doing that (a mouse i'd had for about 5 years) ... sometimes hitting it fixed it, but eventually it got too bad... i bought a new mouse.

I had the exact same problems with a couple of El Cheapo brand mice. They broke within 10 months. I attribute the problems to the fact that they were under $10 apiece.

I've had this mouse for a few years now, so it may just be wearing down. Was hoping that there'd be something I could do to fix it, can't really afford to get a new mouse right now. Thanks for the info. That's a pretty sweet mouse Grindy.
