what is the order of installation for Battlefield 1942, road to rome, the patch, and desert combat to get Desert combat working? And, what is the latest patch?

You don't need Road to Rome to play Desert Combat.

damn. so installing Road to Rome was hurting my progress. The problem I would have is i'd install it all, then try to play on line, then every server apeared in grey.
