Hi everyone.
Various events from the past few months have made me realize that I don't need to be here in Melbourne anymore, and that there's very little I enjoy about living here. So I decided that now I've got my university degree I'm free to do whatever I choose.
So on Feb 2nd I'm getting on a plane to London, then catching a train up to Edinburgh, Scotland. There I'll meet up with my best friend, who I've known since middle school, and look for a share house, look for work, and basically start anew. It's all pretty risky but I reall want to take the chance. So I'm leaving all that I know here behind and starting a new chapter in Scotland
I'm excited

Scotland looks like a kick ass place to be. I myself am Irish, so I can't say much for Scotland. I'd love to go there sometime there on a trip
Edinburgh's a fantastic town. Just prepare to fight your way through the masses of tourists buying Tartan tack. Take a scarf, and good luck!
Good luck dude
Change is good. Once in a while you've got to really shakes things up to keep life interesting.

Twelve hours to go. I'm all packed, I've just got back from the pub with my sister, and before that I had dinner with my family. Good times, good times.
So in twelve hours I'll be at the airport, checking in, and I'll be off to London, and then the next day, to Edinburgh. I'm scared, excited, and scared and excited. This is the craziest thing I've ever done in my life.
So I'll see you guys when I see you! From Scotland!
The weather up here has been OK for the past few days, so you might be in luck and arrive when it's actually sunny! Then again, it's much more likely to be overcast
Good luck with the journey, hope everything works out according to plan!
