The plane ticket is almost 300 dollars, and I wouldn't be making an actual lecture, I would just be sitting at a table with 5-10 other guys and it would function similar to a roundtable. It would definately be cool, I just don't think I have the cash this soon after San Fran

I WILL be attending. I am on the panel covering "Applying Transferable Skill Sets" which is at noon, and the "Resume Workshop" at 1:30. I will be looking at portfolios as Mythic is actively hiring. Sexual favors will not make you more likely to get hired, but I won't turn them down. 8-)

If you are a polycounter, come up and introduce yourself to me. And bring anyone and everyone you know who is a skilled game artist looking for work (oxymoron right?).

I'm gonna be getting in at 10:30 AM on Friday. Anyone's studio or school want a Game Art demo/lecture? ZBrush, UVmapping, texture painting, Max 7 features, you name it. I will probably end up site seeing till I meet up with my bedma...er Roommate Tagheuer when he gets off work. But figured I would throw the offer out there.

A good point was raised to me. Why dont we all settle on a bar IN Shoreline versus driving (or bussing) all the way downtown to seek an overpriced bar/club on first?

There should be some kinda pizza place/bar around Shoreline CC that we could use.

Digipen, but they'll eat you alive thinking that they can take your talent threw ingesting your suple body. I know that sounds good now, but when they start eating your splean (thats where the real talent comes from for those not in the know) you might regret it. Other than that, have fun in the big wet city. You GDC ditcher!

Hey all, I asked people who live in the area, and other than hokey fast food there is nothing right at the campus. However, it was recommended for a good pizza place that serves beer that Spiro's on 185th and Aurora is great.

How about for the lunch period we plan to meet there?

I did get to watch poop give a presentation at Digipen (I go there). It was very interesting, fun, and informative. Thanks for coming to our school Ben!

OrangeCatNinja, RageUnleashed, and Pakrat are all in serious trouble for not showing up. Someone must have had their HOMOvision on.

The conference was awesome, and I really enjoyed speaking at digipen. Tagheuer was awesome letting me sleep on his foam slab and driving me aroun.... helping me pay for a taxi. 8-)
