I just finished the MrBox/Roger tutorial for UT, the modelling from max 1, and i did everything right, perfect infact, but the walking sequence or dodging sequences dont work, the model just stays in the one position and moves around, someone please tell me why, and how to fix this problem >.<, i even got the tutorial files and did it, but it still stays still...

Try Psychic_313's Advance Model System instead. This uses skeletal animation, which means you just have to ink your model to a skeleton, and the tutorial is much more up to date.

Read through, twice, download the bits you need. Read again. Try, something will go wrong. Try again. You'll get there. It just takes a bit of time and patience to get through it all.

You still need to link your model to the default epic skeleton in Max, otherwise, the game will move the skeleton about while your model just sits there for the ride.
You need to get this max file from epic, and link your model to the default male skeleton contained within
