You might want to beef him up a bit. Right now he looks like a 14 year old kid in a greek soldier's costume. Posting a screenshot with the wires would help for C&C purposes, also.
started again on the soldier, so far i did his shoulder pad using a moderatly intricate design incorporating the colors of his armor as well as bronze scale which will be present on his suit.
one of my favorite pain jobs on a texture ive made so far,the linework was done in 3ds max using renderable splines as the template, painted the color, metal, scratchs and weathering.
Nice shield. Reminds me of how the first 3d object I ever made that I felt worth saving was a shield......hmm...hm...arrgh you damn polycounters always make me feel like I suck ...
I hopped in a tad late...but his skirt looks too high, pretty sure those things went down to at least mid thigh, whereas this one looks akin to a cheerleader skirt's length. Personally I would dirty the texture up a bit but if you prefer the newly polished look its cool.
He does kind of look like his unit is about to peek out. I hadn't noticed that before though
I think the texture came out pretty good. It probably could use a little more work on the lines in his legs to look more detailed. His arms/hands could use some detail too.
added more detail to the arms and legs, like a slight tan and hair. dirtied up the suit slightly but i didnt really want roll in the dirt dirty (since greeks were very clean)
as for the "skirt" i kept it as is for 2 reasons
1. ive seen many variations some reach close to knee and others are up real high.

does that metal look ok?
for some reason it looks better from a distance
textured the crest
dont know if ill do anything with the cloak, was thinking of adding a design pattern to the bottom
