20 past 1 on new years eve and I'm sitting at my computer... I must be getting old. Had a quiet one. Kicked back on the porch with a few old mates and a few bottles of wine under the most beautiful starlit sky I've seen in a while. Something to be said for being out in the country again. Who needs rock bands and fireworks eh.
What did the rest of you get up to then?

Ya bunch of slackers. I'm aboot to hit the shower, iron some clothes(bleh)....shave my nuts....then out to a couple of house parties, then downtown for some revelling.

got to spend time with a couple of friends i havent seen in at least 3 or 4 years, and all of us are doin well in life. set off plenty of fireworks on the street corners and had plenty to drink
Make that four years of me terrorizing this community
After Xmas at my sisters, Aileen and I spent a few days back in Leeds area, then on the 30th we headed the 260 miles up to my flat in Edinburgh. After a day of shopping and pubbing, the 31st was spent shopping, then in the pub, then at the street party. We saw Debbie Harry, then it was midnight and a huge fireworks display, then the Scissor Sisters. We got home around 2am.
It was class.
