Memento. I guess it wouldn't be so bad if you watched it for the first time while high (then it wouldn't be trippy, it would just be confusing), but if you've seen it sober and then watch it high it's crazy, because you already know the story and the backwards thing really makes sense. It's hard to explain, but when you're in that altered state of mind your short-term memory loss really makes you understand Leonard's condition and his experiences... it's really weird.

Believe it or not, that was a stereotype thrown unto the group from Syd Barrets days. If you listen to the lyrics of like the Wall, you will find they actually make a story. Roger is da man.

Tommy - that movie with The Who soundtrack and stars... it's fucked up anyway, I'm guessing it'd be pretty nuts if you were high. It's also far too long.

Here's a thought, instead of listing movies you shouldn't view while tripping out on drugs, just don't watch movies while high. Smoke a joint, eat a twinky and go to sleep. Is it so difficult?

I doubt Triumph of the Will would be a good idea.
Likewise, the entire Twin Peaks season would probably not produce the most balanced viewer.

Or why not go for Eraserhead and Man bites dog followed by Clockwork Orange and 1984 before going out for a merry little jaunt down the town center.

It's a simple rule of thumb really, just watch films that are dificult under normal circumstance I would expect.
