Its been ages(years) since I've shown something of mine in my own thread, so I decided I should show something.
I recently did this-


Drawn in my sketchbook from a photo then scanned and painted in Painter8. I referred back to the original photo to check that my lighting was correct.
Had a lot of fun with it, I plan on doing some more.
Anyway, crits and comments are welcome

Theres something very peculiar (sp?) about her up lip. It's the lighting but I can't quite put my finger on it

The upper lip is usually shaded due to the angle it's at. The upper lip extends out at an angle from where it meets the lower lip and then receedes at a much softer angle up toward the nose.

Also the indent, just above the lip, rarely is ever that harsh in it's shading either.

the ears...here is a tip...the bottom of the ear is equal to the bottom of the nose and the top of the ear is equal to the eyebrow. other than that, it looks real good.

The lighting is a bit too harsh/contrasted above her lip, I'll change that.
And goddamn! I cant believe I didnt notice how high up her ear lob started!! thanks spider2cool
