So looks like this thing might not happen, right now at least.
I was just wondering if anyone else here has ever been through an EA buyout? I guess my primary concern is what happens when a small studio >50 people (DICE Canada) becomes EA. Do they suck you up in to the mothership? or just teleport their management into the middle of you office? Or vaporize you?

What do you guys think?

I think larger companies just get their management cleared out.
But I can see where the confusion comes from with so many EA threads on the board today!
*COUGH*
Best of luck not getting bought out by EA. hehe
As for commenting on what I think about it, I'm probably not allowed to. Change is good, keeps things interesting, I just posted this to see if anyone has gone through similar experiences.

And that is exactly opposite of the EA motto. They're afraid of actually changing anything in there system. Just my opinion.
I guess the apropriate phrase would be "if at first you don't succed, try, try again"
Wow lots of EA in the news lately. Maybe this is part of a new marketing statagy
You will be assimilated.
