Nice work, looks good. I'd have thrown a few more polys into the tail area to make it stand out more from the main mesh (mainly to aid with the gouraud-shading).
Face looks a little odd from the front view, and I think the shoulders shouldn't be so wide in the front view either.
Ya I know the face still needs more work. I'm also working on the front legs, but I hadn't thought about the tail or shoulders much so I'll make those changes too. Thanks
Looks a little broad in the shoulders from the front. And you might want to stylize it a bit more. It actually looks too much like a real cat, which is a compliment. But for a statue I'd try and make it look less realistic.
OOoh I like this. My only crit would be the size of the models head compared to the reference. But you said it wasn't to be exact. MoP's advice on adding polys to the tail would help it out some too.
Is it me or are the cats knees sticking out a little much?
Looks good. Before you go tossing extra polys into the tail to make it stand out, try playing with the smoothing groups. Put the tail on a seperate group. I think 1000 tris might be a tad high. Some polys could be reduced in the front legs, from the elbow to the ancle I would think you wouln't need so many?
Looks great even if you don't adjust anything. IF you choose to skin it what kind of texture would do? One close to the ref or something totaly different?

Good work though.
