I've finally been given permission to show this stuff, as long as I don't say what or who it was for. The top row of characters found
here were all done early this year. Though it's unlikely I'll be revisiting these characters all comments and crits are welcome.

Also, some of the deformation seems a little weird. Like her elbow in this piece? Her upper arm is very thick, but then the forearm is quite thin.
women(above):- I feel the black is too dark on the boots and the skirt,ya should have maybe added some grey to it to bring it out abit more, kind alike you have done on the boots, gnerally I think the light on the boots could have been envisised abit more and maybe some folds around the inside of the ankle.(adds abit of imperfection).
guy in suit:-Ok this is a very well rounded charcter, has alot of contrast and genral mixs of color which looks nice, though for me those fingers look abit too pointed...apart from that he looks very neatly done.
Policeman- always nice to see a barney based charcter from time to time ...though I don't like the pockets, not to sure why but that seem to look partcularly flat...also I don't like the shadow around the badge, simply cos its sqaure when the badge is oval looks abit strange, maybe you could ahve just taken a soft eraser and softened those black edges abit. I think his boots and pants could have been just a tad lighter overall..im not a big fan of that very intense highlight on his toes, could do with softening slightly I think.
The jogger dude:- great overall but,Where is the little black line that the zipper would run down on his jacket go?...the back pockets on the jeans stick out maybe too much and there should maybe be a slight higlight on the edge of the flap taht covers his flies at the front to bring taht out a tad more.
Skater looking dude:- I like this guy,the ciggy is a very nice touch and just adds to his charcter, just aminor niggle maybe you could have broken up the cross on his hoodie abit..I know that material they use tends to fade or flake off over time and to be fair he doesn't come across as the most well off guy.
The soviet thug:- haha..wouldn't wanna mess with this little fella :P...the trousers look much better from some of the previous, much more contrast and not so flat looking, maybe you should add some blood to the trousers or at least jsut under the arms around the packet area of his jacket...just a shame the texture is mirrored. The extra large zip is a nice touch,it feels much more complete as i said compared to osme of the preveious. very well done.
Graffiti artist:- sweet is all I can say,I love the deign of this guy,the whole pants down to his knees at the back is so true..lol....The face is cool,i do wish he had one of those skater belts though,i know guys who have pants down to there knees like him and still wear abelt, not that they have it done up the tight .
The coloured man (sorry not sure what else to call him):- I don't really like this guy, maybe its the intensity of the white semas on his jacket and also his shoes are very dark again.
Deliveryman:- hehe if he came to my door id chuck a bucket of water over him....that said he looks pretty cool, his legs could do with good waxing and all but in terms of crits not to much say..maybe abit of highlighting on the belt but its a minor crit.
And that be my 2 cents...though theres alot there that just seems out there all very minor things and overall its fantastic stuff man.....oh and your elf is sweet as and all
john
p.s. once gauss pointed it out, it does look like short arms on that guy... who by the way reminds me a lot of the guy from Snatch and Lock Stock t.s.b.
Scoobs- the concept art wasn't firm at all. For Svetlana, above, I totally ignored the concept art. For some of the characters I tried to be faithful to the clothing ideas. That's about it. The deformation there is a good point. I didn't spend much time rigging these. With a little tweaking it could be improved. As for skin tones being flat, I'll admit this is my weakest area. I'm working on it.
Bronco- some good crits, thanks! I definately went too black on some of the textures- gotta stop forgetting about that!
Gauss- yeah- what's with those arms?! How'd I miss that? He looks pretty good in other poses. Funny how obvious it seems to me now, but nobody ever mentioned it before (and I've shown these to LOTS of people).
Andy- His name is Jason Stathom. I think he's been used in a couple of games in the last year or so, though I've forgotten the titles. I like my version best.
Thanks everyone!
