Next week there is an event at my school that is being held.
Here's some info-
Join technology industry experts on campus for presentations and conversations. It's a great event to get insiders' views on opportunities and breakthroughs in network security, game development, digital animation and video, and software engineering.
Blah blah blah.
It should be pretty good. They've got a number of people coming in and talking about various topics for an hour, and then there is usually a panel discussion with a number of them each day. Theres a good number this year that are actually directed at games.
Here's a few names of companies that are sending some games people over to grace the school with their presence.
Sammy Studios
Gas Powered Games
Volition
Microsoft
NCSoft
Discreet
Rainbow Studios
those are all the ones I could find at least.
Anyway, if anyone else is going to be in AZ next week, it'll be held on Nov 3rd, 4th and 5th at the UAT campus.
