So any recommendations or horror stories on any companies I should consider? I'm looking to spend about $1800 US, and it will pretty much be my second desktop (gaming performance) since I've run short of room for a true desktop.

also, how does pentium M compare to Pentium 4? Like what would a 1.8 ghz pentium M be equivalent to in Pentium 4 clockspeed?
