Having problems posting to the boards? Weve had one consistent issue because of the way the new boards work.
If you try to quick reply, reply or post to the boards and instead receive a "not a valid host" error, you must allow an exception for the boards in your ad blocking, privacy or firewall software.
The new Polycount boards check your browser's "referer," and ad blocking, privacy or firewall software (such as Norton Internet Security) can block this information from being transmitted. Check your software's manual for instructions on how to add an exception or allowance for "boards.polycount.net".
This is not something we can change to make the boards not do. Its part of the new way.
