Well I just made a tree asset for ut2004 and I was just wondering how you guys went about making trees? I was using planes but specifically I wanted to know how many should be used depending on the situation and at what angles should they be to make them look the best..

    depends on the game type and the camera angle. on top down isometric games, single planes parralel to the ground work best, if its an unreal type game, using planes that interesect per brach works well, gives it a volume that isnt given away when rotating around it.
