Hello everyone! I’m working on an environment art project based on Venice, and I’d really appreciate any feedback or critiques. I don’t have much experience in ZBrush, so most of the work will be done in Maya. Thanks in advance for taking a look.
Yeah I agree with what Eric said. I would also avoid adding too much detail until you're certain of your shapes. Try to also think of real world construction when you model. It looks like this end part is connected in terms of modelling to the rest of the boat. In reality this would most likely be 2 seperate pieces of wood. Modelling it like that will get you more realism and make your life easier.

I think it could help to search "gondola boat plans" for example https://www.veniceboats.com/it-progetti-piani-barche-gondola.htm They have a peculiar shape, with a strong dip in the middle.
Your model could also use more evenly-distributed loops, to give it a smoother curvature.
