[NEW TOOL] Armory Crafter – Modular 3D Weapons Editor & Texturing Software

Hi everyone,

I'm currently working on a library of modular 3D weapon models and made an editor powerful enough to texture and export the models and textures in different styles, including PBR.

You can combine different 3D weapon parts using a variety of templates to create unique weapon models. The goal is to help game developers and other 3D professionals save time during asset production.

The exported results support FBX, OBJ and glTF format files. There is no AI involved, all the models were made by me. As a result, exported FBX and OBJ files preserve the original quad topology, making them easy to further edit in software such as Blender or Maya. Also, there are different textures export options that cover different material workflows (Unity, Unreal, Godot).

You can create and share your own material presets, or share entire weapon project files. The software also allows you to import custom textures, although it comes with a built-in library of basic textures.

I plan to continue expanding the asset library and adding more weapon templates. In the future, I would also like to implement a system that allows users to upload their own models and combine them with the existing library, opening up even more customization possibilities.

If you're working on a medieval RPG, strategy game, or action game, give it a try! This is my first standalone software project, and I'm looking for feedback to help improve it. It is currently available only on Windows, but I'm working on adding support for Linux and macOS.

The tool is called Armory Crafter, download links and more info here: https://www.keviniglesias.com/armoryCrafter.html

There is a free version with all the sword models and editor features, suitable for commercial use. But if you want to support the project you can buy the full version and unlock all weapon templates.

Thank you for your time!
