Finding files with 16 bit at least height info?

I wonder what people use for that.    I remember I  had  a nice looking pretty long stripe  of lumpy  dirt  with tire tracks and dried streams  by Reality Capture years ago  but couldn't find it any more.     When I try to filter  search result  by "bit depth" in Adobe Bridge it misses a half  it seems.   Same with Lightroom classic  .  Can't find those with height in alpha.  For some uncertain reason I can't find a DAM or search engine  that's able to looks for 16 or higher bit depth  images and not  missing lots of them.    So I never  sure it all I have .

Does anyone know why?    Any  soft that could do it reliably?

I would recommend asset libraries like these

But searching across all of them, I guess you could make a list of sites that provide 16bit files, then limit your search engine to trawl only those sites.

Thanks Eric . I actually meant  local files  and backups searching , not  internet resources.   Those texture libraries are nice  indeed  but   never provide you with something exactly what you want  and usually limited to small 2x2m patches   that gives  very distinctive  look to game environments lacking  mid-frequency details across material  coverage,  bring a certain simplified  robotic look imo.      That's why I value high those big  scanned  pieces  done by photogrammetry  over those libraries  even resulting in a special more important  layer  of much bigger texel size.   Rght now I   need to find a few specific ones  I sure have somewhere but  sort of lost .

Oh. Then you need a local DAM kind of setup. That usually requires good metadata hygiene though, which is a pain to maintain. Nobody wants to do that.

If you're using Windows you can sort your searches by file metadata, like Bit Depth. You can change the search result view to Details, then add columns like Bit Depth by opening the More list, and click the column to sort the results:

Thanks Eric . I didn't  even  know it is there.    looks like working better than Adobe Bridge.    

Does anyone  know what might be a quick search line syntax  to use in file explorer "quick search" line  to look for any image  being  not 8 , not 24  and not 32 bit  usually associated with  8 bit per sample images ?

Look for syntax here in the "Example" columns. I didn't see Bit Depth, so I just guessed it could be bitDepth:8
